Overpressure Protection: StandardMagnehelic gages are rated for a maximumpressure of 15 psig and should not be usedwhere that limit could be exceeded. Newer models employ a rubber plug on the rear which functions as a relief valve byunseat-ing and venting the gage interior when over pressure reaches approximarely 25 psig. To provide a free pathfor pressure relief, there are four spacer pads which maintain .023"clearance when gage is surface mounted.Do not obstructthe gap crcatcd by thcse pads.
