Over pressure protection: Standard magnehelic gauge is rated for a maximum pressure of 15psig and should not be used where that limit could be exceeded.

There are four spacerpads which maintain.023"clearance when gauge is surface mounted.Do not obstruct the gap created by these pads.
1.Select a location free from exessive vibration and where the ambient temperature will not exceed 140°F(60ºC). Also,avoid direct sunlight which accelerates disco-oration of the clear plastice cover. Sensing lines my be run any necessary distance. Long tubing lengths will not affect accuracy but will nerease response time slightly. Do not restrictlines. If pulsating pressures or vibration cause excessive pointer oscillation. consult the factory for ways to provide additional damping.
2. All standard magnchelic gauge is calibrated with the diaphragm vertical and should be used in that position for maxi-mum accuracy. If gauges are to be used in other than vertical position, this should be specified on the order. Many higher range gauge will perform within tolerance in other positions with only rezeroing.Low range Model 2000-00 and metric equivalents must be used in the vertical position only.
